CNC Machine #4
This is my fourth CNC machine.
The first CNC machine was designed to mill a buck for an entire car, but it was too big and would've taken a long time to do the job.
The second one was also for a buck, but using blocks of extruded polystyrene that could be bonded together. I sold that one, and it's now a CNC plasma cutter.
The third one was a kit that I bought while we were in the process of selling our house and I needed something to work on.
This fourth one is designed to use the stepper motors from the first machine - they were fairly meaty at the time (although nothing compared to the ones I used on the second machine).
The basic design for the CNC machine
Assembly of the machine
Aligning the bed and positioning pins
Adding a trolley for the machine
