Testing

I wanted to test the movement of the machine now it had been assembled - and also see how much faster it was than the old machine...

Linked chain guides

After doing the tests on the movement, I then added the linked chains to the Z and X axis to guide the wires and pipework.

Water pump

And then I 3D printed some brackets to hold the water pump which could take a cable tie thread through them to hold the pump:

And with the pump fitted:

I then plumbed in the temperature sensor and the flow monitor:

First running

I put a bit of PC coolant water in the reservoir, and ran it for a bit - there was a lot of gunk in the spindle that looked a very dodgy colour!

However, the flow monitor and temperature sensor worked fine.
